Personal Care including help getting up or going to bed, bathing and showering, shaving, oral care, dressing, feeding, assistance with medication, toileting, emptying commode and continence care.
You may wish to have a bath at different times of the week day or time we have staff who will support you with this activity. You may only want one shower/bath a week and this is completely fine. This normally takes about an hour.
If you need to tale medication we have trained staff who will assist and support you to make sure that you take the correct medication at the right time.
Carers will assist you at mealtimes to both prepare and serve you meals for you. Also preparing snacks and drinks.

If you have family that come on holiday or stay in a caravan and they normally have care at home we offer short term care to whilst you are away. We also provide short term care (Daily and Live-in Care) which enables family members to have a break. It can also be valuable for those who are waiting for admission to or discharge from hospital. Live-in Care can also benefit those who require care, assistance or companionship whilst on holiday.
We can run errands such as picking up prescriptions, dry cleaning, or general grocery shopping. We are also able to accompany you to appointments when necessary. Pension collection.
We are able to offer our clients a feeding and walking service for their pets. This may include trips to the vets if required.
A Montécare Homecare Support worker can assist with vacuuming, dusting, taking out the rubbish, bed linen changing etc...
Washing clothes and linens can be a strenuous activity. Montécare Homecare Support workers can wash, dry, fold, iron and put away your laundry for you, alleviating physical stress.
Having someone friendly and understanding to talk to can help make for a happier life and provides our service users with social stimulation and something to look forward to. Montécare offer caring companionship services which can cover anything from conversation to just having someone in the home to visit.
We recognise that being a fulltime carer can often be a demanding and at times stressful role. We can offer an hourly home sitting service giving you peace of mind that your loved one is in safe hands, allowing the carer an opportunity of a break.
We can accompany you on outings to enjoy your favourite activities or stay in the home to just maybe play cards or a board game. We help you to remain included and to maintain the hobbies and activities you've always enjoyed. Let us assist you with Community access.
We will pop in to see you and to make sure that you are alright and perhaps have a chat and a cup of tea with you - this will alleviate the worry of your loved ones and also instil confidence to make you feel that you are not vulnerable or alone.
If you have difficulty in filling in forms or voting or sorting out your bills our support worker/carer will be glad to assist you with this.
We can give benefits advice and assist you with the form filling process if required. Montécare Homecare Support can also advise you of other agencies for additional support should this be requested.
Daily care is short visits to meet the service user's care requirements (minimum duration of 30 minutes). The number and length of visits is based upon your wishes.
An all day or all night sitting service can also be provided.
Community Support is support provided to enable people with learning disabilities to live independently with choice and respect. The length of visit can vary from 30 minutes to continuous support (inclusive of sleep ins).
This is a support service for family carers who care for a loved one. We can support the cared for person which allows the family carer to have a well deserved break. Support can be provided either within the home environment or within the local community.
The minimum duration of a call is 2 hours. You may choose a block of 2 hours every week, 4 hours every fortnight or 8 hours once a month. You may also choose to have hours of support in addition to the minimum.
Any other tasks that are appropriate and have been identified during the pre-care assessment.
Live-in Care is continuous care provided within the service users own home and is tailored to meet the individual's requirements. The care and support is provided by a carer who lives in with the service user.
The 24 hour service we can provide offers real choice between support and care at home and residential care. This involves a team of carers working with you in your own home and supporting you with any personal care and household tasks. With the ultimate benefit of remaining in the familiar surroundings and comfort of your own home with your pets and friends nearby. This is a perfect alternative to a residential home or sheltered accommodation. 24 hour support in your own home is an ideal option because you are able to retain your independence and maintain a good quality of life in your own home.
A free pre-care assessment will be carried out by a qualified assessor to ensure that the correct level of care or support will be provided. This can involve family members or friends.

All OF THE Above have no set patterns care can be once a week or 28 times a week it is purely your Choice and your Need that dictates the amount of visits that you have. You can have as many hours per day as you wish - minimum is half an hour up to skies the limit.
